There are 14 different and frequently asked sentences we commonly use in IELTS task 1.
These are sentences we can usually use in a line graph, bar graph, table, and pie chart.
Sentence 1
Structure :- Subject + verb +adverb + to + graph data + time
For example:- The consumption of Indian food inclined gradually to 35kg per person from 1980 to 1990
Sentence 2
Structure :- Subject + verb + adverb + by + new data (graph latest data -
old data) + time
For example :- The consumption of Italian food inclined gradually by 7 kg
per person during 1980-2000.
Sentence 3
Structure :-
For example :- A sharp reduction of 20% was recorded in the consumption of foreign food from 1990 to 2000.
Sentence 4
Structure :-
For example :- There was a considerable incline in the number of visitors between 1998 and 2000.
