1) Discuss both views and give your opinions


This type of essay is included in the discussion type of essay.

This type of essay question is very easy for us, we are lucky if we get this kind of question in our real IELTS exam. This is mainly the answer format is simple and easy to understand.

This essay question is all about explaining both sides of the essay and giving your opinion for the best side.

Some think increasing business and cultural contact between nations is positive. Others think it leads to the disappearance of the national identity. Discuss both views and state your own opinion.(December 15th)


This is the most frequently asked question in the real exam,


2) Agree or disagree


This type of essay question is included in the opinion type of question.

It is also a popular type of essay question in the IELTS exam.

In this essay, we need to put our opinion on the strong side of the question and we need to prove that our opinion is best for the essay question.

Many claim that the fast-food industry had a negative effect on the environment, eating habits, and families. To what extend do you agree or disagree? (28th October)


This essay is very tricky and sometimes we face problems about our opinion, so we need to enhance more effort for understanding the question  


3) To what extent do you agree or disagree


This type of question is as much as similar to the agree or disagree question but the difference between both of them is that we need to discuss both sides and allocate the priority on the bright side.

it is the toughest question in IELTS writing task two but you cannot be afraid about that because we can easy to crack this question and understand it to the small portion.

Because many children are not able to learn foreign languages, schools should not force them to learn foreign languages. To what extent do you agree or disagree? (October 11th)

4) Causes and solution


In this essay, we need to discuss the reason for the specific phenomenon and how to eradicate this problem with the best solution.

This essay is very simple as per my preference and essay to understand.

This essay is all about thinking dip for any situation why it is happening and how we can solve this problem with the appropriate measures.


5) Advantage and Disadvantage


This essay is a very simple essay. we need to understand the essay question and discuss the merits and demerits of the specific topic.


In the past, most people worked for small businesses, while more people now work for large businesses. What are the advantages and disadvantages of working for large businesses? (September 29th)

6) Advantage Outweigh Disadvantage


This is a specific type of essay, which generates from the advantage and disadvantage essay and makes it complicated.

This essay question is often asked in IELTS real exam.

This essay is also similar to the advantages and disadvantages but the variation is that we write the positive and negative side of the situation.

8) Double question


This question we can easy to recognize we need to find two questions marks(?) or sometimes we need to estimate that this is the double type of question marks sometimes

This type of question is easy first we need to provide the answer to the first question and then after we provide a second question answer.

9) Direct question


This essay question is also similar to the double question but the dissimilarity is that sometimes in direct question asked one question, two, and even three questions. 

In today’s world of advanced science and technology, many still greatly value artists such as musicians, painters, and writers. What can the arts tell us about life that science cannot? (September 16th)


There are 9 different types of questions, which I try to cover but maybe some questions examiner can be twisted.

Normally These are the questions frequently asked in real IELTS and we can easy to identify if we know about the types of essays in IELTS writing task 2.

The important tip is that we need to spend approximately 2 to 3 minutes to understand the question and blueprint of the answer.
